Interested in donating a kidney?  Would you like to be tested?

Kendra (Johnson's wife) is currently being tested to see if she can indeed donate one of her kidneys to Johnson.  It is a long process, and she hopes she is a successful candidate.  However, it is best for us not to put all of our eggs in one basket.  If you are at all interested in donating one of your kidneys to Johnson, then please do not hesitate to contact Haesung Yum at (613) 738-8489.  She is the Living Donor Transplant
Co-ordinator at the Riverside Hospital in Ottawa, and she can help you decide if this would be something you would like to consider being tested for.

Provincial Agreement for Potential Donors

Should you live outside of Ontario, please note that there is an Agreement between provinces for those persons not covered by OHIP, but their own provinces health insurance, that all expenses incurred would be between each provinces health plan.  No out of pocket financial costs for those interested in donating.

Contact Haesung Yum at (613) 738-8489.  She is the Living Donor Transplant Co-ordinator at the Riverside Hospital in Ottawa, and she can help find out these types of answers for you.
