Johnson get's the good news and is released today.  We wait at the hospital while the pharmacists teaches Johnson what he needs to know about his medications, and while he get's half of his staples removed.  He was very stressed about getting his staples out, but he needn't, cause it all went smooth.

We wheeled two wheelchairs full of stuff to our car, and headed to Grandma's to get the girls and then home.  It was so nice to spend the afternoon with the girls, and they have been so helpful.

Later it was off the the pharmacy to pick up Johnson's 1 month's supply of medications.  All I can say is that it's a good thing we have insurance, cause Johnson's plan covers 80% of Johnson's medications, and then my insurance after I submit it will cover the additional 20%.  So I only paid out of pocket $450.00 this time.  So if $450.00 is 20% of our bill then you can only imagine how expensive these drugs are.  One month's supply runs approximately $2250.00.  WOW.

Ok.. a quick funny... so I quickly go to the drugstore, then quickly to Rogers Video to return 3 movies we rented... I drive up to the return slot, park my car, and proceed to put my 3 movies into the slot...or at least what I thought was the slot... I threw our 3 movies into the garbage bin slot!!!!  HA HA!!! I'm the biggest loser!!!  So I go into the store and look for the tallest guy who works there and proceed to tell him I just did the most bonehead move ever!  I explained I was just released from the hospital and must have been confused as I just threw my 3 movies into the garbage can, and would he be so kind as to go and get them for me!  I mean... imagine... I threw them in the garbage... The big joke in the store after this was them asking me.... are you sure your OK to be driving?  I am the biggest loser!!!

Then I tried to get a small grocery so the kids would have food on their lunches tomorrow, and I was pretty much spent!  The girls put all the groceries away for me... "Mommy!!!  Don't bend.... We will do it" and they did!  What amazing kids!  So I'm sore, and so is Johnson... but we are home as a family again.  I will have to loosen up and let things go like an untidy bedroom, cause we just can't bend over to pick things up right now.  This is hard for me.  I will just have to forget about a tidy house for awhile until we are healed more.

But... Johnson is great!  I have so much to say, but I'm too tired and sore, so I'll go now, and I'll try to update you all again tomorrow.  Johnson must return to the hospital every morning now to do blood work and meet with his transplant team to see if anything needs to be adjusted.

Tomorrow morning my mother has hired me a helper who will arrive at 6:30AM each morning to help me get the kids ready for school each day.  She will help me wake them, get them dressed, teeth brushed, hair combed, and breakfast made.  Once the girls are dressed and off to school, my helper will stay until 11:30AM and will empty the dishwasher for us, maybe do one load of laundry or a small grocery, and she will help prepare the girls lunches for the next day.  I surely will appreciate the help, after tonight's efforts trying to do it all alone.  I just can't yet... but soon!

Cheers!
